Arijana began volunteering with Attend in June 2025. Originally from New York City, she is a fourth-year Psychology student at Boston University and joined Attend as part of her summer study abroad program. At Attend, Arijana mostly works under the Friends’ Voices Project as an Oral History Volunteer. 

As an Oral History Volunteer, Arijana captures the inspiring stories of volunteers from Attend’s network of Friends Groups. Through these voices, she has gained a greater understanding on how being a part of the League of Friends can impact local hospital communities.  

Since arriving in London, she has enjoyed discovering new restaurants and traveling to nearby countries. In her free time, Arijana loves cooking for friends and family, reading classic novels, and spending time with loved ones. She aspires to become a counseling psychologist, supporting adolescents affected by cancer.
